The New England chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association is holding a Walkathon fundraiser to support our Educational Foundation, on September 30th at the Boston Design Center. The walk is from 1-5, followed by a reception from 5-7.
One of our Walkathon sponsors, Michael J Lee Photography, is offering, in addition to a raffled 1/2 photo shoot of a design professional, a contest for senior interior design students. Any seniors registering for and attending the walk or reception are eligible.
Can help us get the word out? Are you able to email this to senior interior design students? We realized the time is short, but Michael only made his generous offer several days ago.
---Here is the text with the rules for the contest:
* We are excited to announce the Student Vignette Photo Contest, to be held in support of the International Furnishings and Design Association’s Educational Foundation Walkathon on September 30th from 1 to 5 at the Boston Design Center. Reception to follow from 5 to 7.

Lee during the Walkathon reception at the Janus et Cie showroom. A winner will be announced on Tuesday October 12th. The winner and Michael J. Lee Photography will coordinate with the Boston Design Center’s M-Geough showroom to select a date to tour the showroom, discuss the shot and then be given time to "create" the vignette within the showroom at a later date. Only materials available in M-Geough may be used, excluding flowers, food or artwork . Michael J. Lee Photography and M-Geough retain the right to use the image for their own promotional purposes, giving the student credit when applicable.
