On November 21st the sophomore interior design students took a trip to Stone Source for their Building Materials and Construction lecture. Here, the students got the chance to look at all different kinds of stones, several different kinds of woods and a few other man-made building and design materials. The show room had a very impressive collection and the students learned a lot about different stone types and where and when it is appropriate to use them in their designs.
