On Sunday, April 26th some of the members of Mount Ida's chapter of USGBC participated in Newton Serves at the Blue Heron Bridge in Newton removing invasive species on the bank of the Charles River. The girls got a chance to get into the community and get their hands dirty helping the environment and learn quite a bit while they were at it. The girls had a blast and it was an overall awesome experience and chance to emerge themselves into the environment.
They also met some new, unexpected friends :)
