A beautiful bench was installed outside of Chamberlayne in memory of Kiley Jean. Kiley passed away May 5, 2010; she was an interior design student. The Interior Design class of 2011 facilitated the installation and design.
A special THANK YOU to Mr. Birse who built, helped design and installed the bench! He said “it is one of a kind.” This is very meaningful to all of us in the program as that is how we feel about Kiley Jean!

| May 5th marked the anniversary of the death of a beloved friend, student and member of our community, Kiley Jean. As part of Senior Week we recognized her absence with a candlelight vigile in Kiley Jean's memory. In front of Chamberlayne Hall 8 pm. |

During commencement when the Interior Design students were called a white rose was placed on the podium as a symbol of Kiley’s presence. |
